Kathy's Easter Cupcakes
These were fun to make. The cupcakes are lemon with a lemon/orange glaze, then covered in buttercream frosting. She wanted a dozen piped with grass and flowers and a dozen covered in fondant and decorated with easter eggs. The flowers are all hand made with either royal icing or fondant/gumpaste.

Joyce's Wedding Cake
I was so excited to make this cake. I tried a few new techniques and I'm pleased with how it turned out.
The cake is chocolate with buttercream frosting. It's covered in ivory fondant.
Everything on the cake is edible; pearls, ribbon topper, roses, and lace.
These are some pictures I took before the reception.
The following pictures appear courtsey of Linda Payne, the wedding photographer. You can find her work at: http://lpaynephoto.blogspot.com/

Sara Ann's Cupcakes
These are white cupcakes with milk chocolate buttercream icing. They are topped with black fondant and rolled in edible silver beads. The flowers are handmade out of gumpaste.
I found these gorgeous cupcakes on Flickr and copied them exactly, even the stand they are on. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to take pictures of my cupcakes. I took them to the event and arranged them, then had to leave quickly for a family emergency. These pictures belong to a cake decorator in Australia whose idea I duplicated. The only difference was I used black cupcake papers. I liked the stark contrast of the white on black and silver.

Shaylee's Wedding
This is a yellow cake with chocolate ganache frosting. It's covered in fondant with handmade, hand painted, gumpaste flowers.
MaryAnn's Wedding
This is a white cake with Banana cake for the largest layer. It's covered in marshmallow fondant. the handmade flowers and leaves are fondant/gumpaste with pearl dust for a little "bling".
Deb's Cake
This is a chocolate cake, covered in marshmellow fondant. The flowers are silk. You can't see it very clearly but the decorations on the top layer are roses stenciled in gold icing and brushed with pearl dust. There are edible pearls at each intersecting line on the bottom layer.
Wanda's 50th wedding cake
They wanted something simple with gold on it. It's carrot cake with cream cheese frosting (is there any better combination?) There are hand piped flowers with an embroidery technique. I touched the edges with edible gold paint.
Traci's Cake
This was a mini wedding cake I made for Traci. The yellow roses are silk and the small flowers on the bottom layer are fondant with edible pearls in the center.
Liz's Bridal Shower
I don't love how these pictures turned out. The cakes were really cute. She married a cop and he took the leftover cake to work. I heard his co-workers didn't dare cut into them because they were "too pretty".
