Rebekah's Cake

I adore how this cake turned out.  This was for my dear friend, Rebekah and her now husband, Christian.  I LOVED doing this cake.  Rebekah sent me pictures of her dress and I made the lace on the cake look like the lace on her dress.  She even sent me ribbon to put on the cake that matched the gorgeous sash on her dress.  Her flavors were Banana Nut, Chocolate, and Vanilla.  She had two small side cakes for her and her groom.  This cake was a labor of love!
These photos were taken by Jamie Kanani.

Here are a couple I snapped at the fabulous wedding!

Oh, honey... I smiled from ear to ear and my chest swelled all over again to read your words and see this amazing cake. I truly feel that this is the most beautiful cake you've made to date. The details were stunning in person. The gold features of each lace flower, the ribbon on each layer only made it prettier. All of this and it still had a simplicity to it that I adored.

Then, above and beyond all of this, it tasted down right, flat out incredible. Mygoodnessgraciousgirl! I chewed every bite with my eyes closed. How can we tell all of the Wasatch Front about you??!?

You are so wonderful and I sure love you!

Here's to you!
