Kristy's Cake

When the bride told me she wanted purple roses, I couldn't picture it.  When she sent me color swatches so I could match the fondant flowers, I caught her vision for her wedding.  It was beautiful!
Each cake tier was a different design.  The bottom tier had delicate scroll work, the next tier was quilted with silver bead work, the next tier was embroider brushed with edible silver on the tips.  The top layer was a flower pattern embossed and accented with silver beads.
The muted violet roses and white calla lilies cascaded down the cake in an elegant swoop, and hand made pearls finished each layer.

Savannah's 1st Birthday Cake

This lady bug cake turned out so cute!  Jeanette (the mom) wanted a pink and green lady bug cake for her daughters 1st birthday.  The bottom layer is red velvet with cream cheese icing!  The top layer is the "smash cake" and is banana cake with buttercream icing.  Cute cake for a cute little girl!

Rachael's Cake

Rachael's cake was all about the flowers!  I hand made each flower and gave them a soft pink center.  The cake was stenciled with a damask pattern and brushed with pearl dust to give it luster.  The edible pearls around the cake were the finishing touches.

Deb's Anniversary Cakes

These cakes were for a 50th Anniversary celebration.  The big 16 inch cake was for the couple celebrating 50 years of marriage.  Each smaller 8 inch cake represented their children so I monogrammed each one with their initial.  The cakes are wrapped in white chocolate.  The pearls are handmade from fondant.

Whitney's Cake

Whitney's entire bouquet was made up of brooches and she wanted her cake to match it.  She collected the vintage brooches and we used them on the cake.  I think it looked beautiful!
Her cake is covered in white chocolate and her dad told me it was the only wedding cake he's tasted that was worth eating!  What a compliment!
The bottom layer was chocolate cake with pecan coconut icing, the middle layer was lemon raspberry, and the top layer was one of their family favorite recipies- Italian Cream Cake.  The icing was to die for!  It is now one of my family favorites!

Rebekah's Cake

I adore how this cake turned out.  This was for my dear friend, Rebekah and her now husband, Christian.  I LOVED doing this cake.  Rebekah sent me pictures of her dress and I made the lace on the cake look like the lace on her dress.  She even sent me ribbon to put on the cake that matched the gorgeous sash on her dress.  Her flavors were Banana Nut, Chocolate, and Vanilla.  She had two small side cakes for her and her groom.  This cake was a labor of love!
These photos were taken by Jamie Kanani.

Here are a couple I snapped at the fabulous wedding!

Katelynn's Cake

Katelynn saw "Megans Cake" and wanted it in Black, White, and Red.  She loves red and told me it is the "Big Girl Pink"  :-)  Her cake flavors were German Chocolate with pecan coconut frosting, Carrot cake with cream cheese icing, Chocolate, and vanilla with strawberry filling.  The cake is covered in White chocolate with Dark Chocolate accents.  The handmade red roses are also chocolate.

Aubrey's Cake

I love how this cake turned out.  I love the simple, clean lines and the elegance of the flower petals.  The bride chose four different flavors: Carrot, Marble, Lemon Raspberry, and Vanilla.  The cake is covered in white chocolate! Mmmm....

Megan's Cake

This cake...what can I say.  This was amazing to make and looked right at home at her reception.  Her colors were Fall colors; burnt orange, chocolate brown, and pheasant feathers.  The backdrop for her wedding was a local ski resort...it was gorgeous!  Her flavors were Carrot cake, Chocolate, and Pumpkin Spice and dark chocolate.  I wrapped the cake in white chocolate with dark chocolate inlaid swirls and lines.  I handmade the chocolate roses.  Can you say "CHOCOLATE!"  Sampling was the best part of making this cake!

Eliza's Birthday Cake

This cake was a delight to make!  The birthday girl's mom sent me a picture of the party decorations and I used that for the inspiration for this "1st birthday" cake.  The cake layers were confetti, chocolate with raspberry filling, and vanilla.  The small "smash" cake was also confetti.
