A Minion for Chance

Who doesn't love minions?  Chance wanted "Bob" the minion for his birthday cake.  The cake is 9 inches in diameter and about 12 inches tall.  It was so fun to make.  The goggles have an edible silver paint.  I hope the birthday boy loved it!

Kimber's 1st Birthday

It was so fun doing this cake.  The ladybug was strawberry cake, so when they cut into it, it would be pink!  The rest was chocolate with buttercream icing. I use a high quality fondant that tastes like buttercream icing.

Gender Reveal Cake

I think this is such a fun thing to do!  The mom-to-be had an ultrasound and the sex of the baby was sealed in an envelope without mom and dad knowing what it is.  The envelope was delivered to me and I made a cake the color of the baby's gender.  When the parents to be and guests cut into the cake, they'll find out what their baby will be!
It's a fun feeling to know the sex of the baby before the parents and equally hard to keep the cake gender neutral on the outside!  I think the hand cut elephants, clouds, and hearts do the trick.

Jake's Super Hero Cake

A super cake for a super kid!  The cake is confetti on the bottom and chocolate on the top.  The hand cut superhero symbols and capes are fondant.  What a fun cake to make!

Kaitlin's Birthday Cake

Yellow, Grey,  and White!  What can I say, I love this color combination.  This was for a 14th birthday party.  The cake was Confetti.  The ruffles and pokadots give it a soft girly flair, and the chevron pattern keeps it trendy.

Belle's Dress Cake

If you have seen Beauty and The Beast, this cake might look familiar.  It's Belle's dress and the Beast's rose.  This was for a little girls 4th birthday and when I delivered it, she was dressed up like Belle.  She was adorable and LOVED her cake.  It was chocolate cake with chocolate icing.
A huge thanks to Aubrey Jeppson with http://www.framebyframeportraits.com/ for these photos.

Chase's Minecraft Cake

I had no idea what Minecraft was before I was asked to do this cake, but I know all about it now :-)
This was  half chocolate and half vanilla cake.  The characters are papercraft.  This cake was a lot of fun to do!

Tammy's Wedding Cake

I love the simplicity of this cake.  The swirled buttercream icing over a lemon raspberry cake was dressed up nicely with the blue and brown flowers.

Kyrie and Savannah's Birthday Cake

Pink, Red, and White...a perfect little girl cake.  This cake was for two little girls, one turning 7 and one turning 8.  The top two layers were vanilla and the bottom layer was red velvet.
I got to use my cake cricut to do the lettering as well as the border on the top layer.  It cuts the edible paper so well!

Brock's Birthday Cake

Antlers, Bullets, Camo, and Hunter Orange... Awesome on the outside and delicious on the inside.  This cake was devils food cake, with fudge icing and Peanut Butter Cream filling.  Yum!
What a fun cake to make.  The antlers and bullets are made of fondant, and the writing is edible paper.
